To maintain good oral hygiene it is important to come and see us regularly. When combined with good home oral care, this will help prevent problems from developing. Our dentist will gently examine your teeth for signs of decay or damage, checking for early signs of gum disease and oral cancer.
Digital x-rays of your teeth are usually taken every two years, unless we think there is a problem that requires a closer look. We may wish to take more frequent x-rays if we feel you are at higher risk of developing dental problems. There is no need to worry, as we only take x-rays when we need to and our equipment is safe and well-maintained.
For people who are committed to maintain their oral health, we have active management programme where you can get special pricing for checkup, clean, X-rays and fluoride treatments.
Our dentist will first ask about any problems since your last dental check-up and will update your medical history.
At your check-up we will:
If we feel that your oral hygiene needs to be improved or any other treatment needs to be done, we will create a treatment plan outlining the work to be carried out and the costing; you will then need to make an appointment for the necessary treatment. Our dentist will explain all possible options so you know why treatment is required and how each choice will help you.
